Every teacher is employed or on a long-running contract, teaches the same slot for a whole term, and dances themselves. Studio leads teach five classes a week alongside running the house.

Marit opened the loft in 2014 after nine years dancing in Bremen and Ghent. She teaches release technique the slow way — one principle per block, revisited until it holds under speed. She also writes the eight-week course plans for the whole chain.

Deniz built the hall out of an empty gymnasium in 2019 and still teaches five classes a week in it. Foundation-first: he will spend a whole term on grooves before anyone learns a routine, and he judges at jams across northern Germany.

Breaking since 2004, four years on the national circuit. Designed the Cypher-Raum floor himself and coaches the youth crew for free on Wednesdays.

Rosa came from Cali via Madrid and opened the glass box in 2022. She teaches both roles to everyone, rotates partners every four minutes, and hosts the Sunday practica that has become the reason many people joined at all.

Twelve years of milongas in Buenos Aires and Lisbon. Spends the first six weeks of every beginners’ course on walking alone.
